The problem with these funny looking tubers, is that people often don’t know what to do with them.
Here are 3 ways you can turn them into something really delicious.

1. Peel, cut into discs, dust with seasoned flour and roast in hot oil until golden (about 20 mins)

2. Peel, cut and dust as above, but then dip into a beer batter and deep fry until golden (beer batter is just cold lager mixed with self raising flour, seasoned and rested for½ hour).

3. Peel, cut and dust as above, then dip into beaten egg followed by breadcrumbs. Deep fry until golden, drain and serve with lemon wedges. . .
