Why buy a mixed box of organic vegetables?

 

The beauty of  a box scheme, is that you get to eat fruit and vegetables when they are at their best – when they are in season.

The pressure on the farmer is reduced, as we only put the produce in our boxes when it is ready to leave the farm and has just been cropped.

You get a surprise (some say like a Christmas stocking!) turn up on your doorstep every week, enabling you to vary your diet!

You know that the farmer has been paid a fair price for their produce – we make a point of filling our boxes with produce from organic farms as locally as we can, supporting our North West farmers.

You will be reducing your packaging waste – we use reusable boxes.

We have 20 years experience and Know that you won’t be happy with a box full of swedes and cabbages every week!

We take great care when choosing what goes in our boxes to ensure that the variety is good.  We think about the meals you will be making for your family and even send you a recipe in our weekly newsletter.

This is one of the reasons we were finalists in the Soil Association Organic Awards Best box scheme category 2014 🙂

If there are vegetables you know won’t be eaten, let us know and we will replace them with something you know will go down well with the family!  This system works very well for permanent or temporary exclusions.
